A Cub scout Pack is being established for the Christian homeschool community.  A meeting is scheduled at the First Presbyterian Church in Tomball on February 22 at 6:45pm (End time not specified).  The church is located across from the Lone Star College on Highway 249.   See the churches web site at: http://fpctomball.org/default.aspx

No scouting experience is needed to become a Cub Scout. Cub Scout leaders do not need any previous experience  and training is offered for the leadership positions.  Most of the training can be completed on-line.

Who can join Cut Scouting?

If you are a home schooled boy in first grade through fifth grade ­ or you're 7 to 10 years old then Cub Scouting is for you. It's for your family, too. This is the first and the largest of the three Scouting programs (Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, and Venturing) from the Boy Scouts of America.

Joining

To join attend the meeting on February 22 and fill out an application form.  Required: $15 registration fee every year.
Extras include: Uniform, handbook, Boys' Life subscription (optional), camping equipment (most Cub camping does not require a special equipment purchase; talk with your son's Cubmaster before buying anything).
